Remodeling of KCS Angels
Hello From Tracy,
We have gone thru some pretty big changes this year.
We had an Angel move on with a different Direction of her life.
We have had Board members come and go.
We have had two Major health related issues Happen, first one of our founding members, Scott, had Major Neck Surgery. He is almost fully recovered. And our E.D. had a Gastric Bypass to cure a long battle with Diabetes.
Now we are Back in Action! New Attitudes, Better Health and LOTS More Fun to come.
We will be featured at a Vendors Fair on the Second of December, at the Eagle Eye Golf Club. Super Excited for that Opportunity, and a big thank you to Amanda Smith for that!
We are Hosting a Dinner Dance the Ninth of December, at Trinity Church. That also happens to be Scott’s Birthday! (the details of the dance are on our calendar page)
We have had more fundraising help from some pretty Amazing people. One of whom is Peggy Dickerson, she went above and beyond and is still helping us out!
Our KCS Bakers will be at it for the Bake Sale at Eagle Eye. We couldn't be Us without Them!!
Can't wait to see what this next year brings to our Angels.

Hello from Tracy.
I am so excited to see where we are going this year. Last year happened so fast. We had our first Dance in April and it was Fun, then in July we help our second and it was bigger and even more fun. Sadly we had to charge for those. But in October we held our first FREE dance and that was AMAZING. Jan 21, 2017 is our first dance of the year and I’m super excited because not only is it free, it will be catered by the Royal Scot Banquet Center. AMAZING!!
Our Special Guests will return and participate as well as help create our fun.
We met some really neat people in 2016, and I KNOW we are going to meet be Friends with more wonderful people in 2017. Are ya ready for that? I Am!!
God Bless you All!
Scott's First Blog Post!
My full name is Richard Scott Smith, my family and friends call me Scott, Scotter Scotty Hotty, and my personal favorite KING RICHARD!
I was born with Down Syndrome and I stutter. I also am legally blind. And a few other issues.
Because of KCS Angels, I kinda changed my life around and put a new person inside of me. I come out of my room and spend time with the people I love, and go out more.
I like to go camping and spending time outdoors having a good time with friends. Love sitting by the campfire at night. We eat like little pigs out there. Sometimes we go to yard sales, sometimes we go to a restaurant for Breakfast, but not very often. We like to cook and spent time at the camp.
I love our animals, three dogs and a cat. Tracy rescued a Big dog and we named him Malachi, he lived in a bad place before he came here. All of our pets are spoiled and I wish All animals could have good home like ours do. Make sure you train your animals to and make sure they won't hurt anyone. To All the people out there, if you have a pet you have Lots of love, and you need to care for them, give them love, kindness and play with them. Keep them warm and feed them. I like seeing pets dressed up for the holidays. Malachi is learning to walk me out to my bus in the morning to make sure I don't fall, and if I do, He will help me get back up. He is a St Bernard Mastiff mix so he is plenty big enough to help me out.
We raise money for KCS Angels to allow us to invite our friends to come out and Dance Eat and Enjoy a night out.
For our Game night this month we are making Christmas cards for our Family’s.
For our KSC Angels Act of Kindness we are taking home made treats to the Abbot Rd Fire Station. To thank them for coming out and helping people in need.
Tracy’s First Blog.
Welcome to our corner of the globe.
First let me say I Know how Blessed I am to get to be a part of KCS Angels.
I know there is a huge need for people with Special Needs or Challenges to just be able to Relax and socialize with their peers and maybe even make some new friends along the way.
So with the help of Kristin, Caitlin and Scott, we have set out to make that happen. These three people have taught me so much about the Need, yes NEED for Fun in their lives. And we couldn't keep that a secret. So KCS Angels was Born, March 16 of 2016. And with the help of some really wonderful folks, that you Will meet soon, we put together a Board of Directors, Hired a Lawyer and are going Non Profit, we even have our own Web Design team, who’da thunk it.
I have been involved in one way or another with folks with special needs much of my life, from my brother who was labeled the ”R” word way back in the 70’s because he is extremely Dyslexic. An uncle born with no legs or fingers, to my own child who was label because he doesn't learn the way his school thought he should to the many Beautiful Souls that touch my life every day before and especially since creating KCS Angels. I have a Firm belief in two things 1, God picked me to form KCS Angels, and 2, Every one of us has a “disability” and every one of us has an ABILITY!
So with the help of some Really Good to the Soul People we will make KCS Angel events available to all who wish to be part of this Amazing Journey God has set our paths on.
I Love watching the magic of our dances turn into Smiles and Laughter, I Love that I get to put it all together and then watch some really Amazing people turn out a Great Time for all. The Volunteers and the Board members who put their hearts into every event big or small, thats an Awesome sight indeed. And I get to soak up and praise out all the Glory to the Lord for picking me to “lead” this merry band of incredible Loves.
I do not pretend to do this alone, there is an entire team of solid people standing with me, working hard on this mission as well as working hard in their own lives, jobs, health issues, and I can never thank them enough.
And with that I’d like to welcome You to KCS Angels corner of the world.
Yours in Love
E.D KCS Angel!
Have a Blessed Day!
